Chocolate Bliss Balls

Prep time 10 minutes. Set time 30 minutes.


1 cup dates

1/4 cup KANAPU Hemp seed flakes

3 Tbsp cocoa powder or raw cacao powder

3 Tbsp unsweetened desiccated coconut

– 1 Tbsp KANAPU Hemp Seed Oil

– 1/4 tsp fine sea salt

– 3 Tbsp chopped dark chocolate (optional)

– 1 to 3 tsp water if needed

Topping Options

– Shredded coconut

– KANAPU Hemp Seed Flakes

– Cocoa Powder

– Melted dark chocolate

Place the pitted dates in your food processor until a ball forms. Add the remaining ingredients and process until thoroughly combined and almost smooth. Line a tray or plate with baking paper and shape the mixture into balls before placing them on the tray. Roll each bliss ball in your desired topping until completely coated. Freeze or refrigerate bliss balls for 20 minutes or until firm.

Our Tip

Dates too dry? Simply soak them in boiling water for a couple of minutes prior to processing. Remember to refrigerate bliss balls to maintain freshness.
